NCR, short for Next Chapter Results, was developed as a professional career coaching identity for people navigating meaningful transitions in their work lives. The brand needed to feel optimistic, credible, and action-oriented without losing the personal nature of coaching.
The central idea was movement into a stronger next chapter. The identity uses an open-page visual metaphor to suggest progress, discovery, preparation, and a deliberate turn toward what comes next.
The system was imagined across the practical touchpoints of a consulting and coaching business: stationery, business cards, envelopes, invoices, shipping labels, presentation materials, a web presence, coffee mugs, pens, notebooks, and professional carry goods.
Brand Context
Career coaching is both practical and deeply personal. Clients need guidance on positioning, resumes, interviews, communication, professional confidence, and decision-making, but they also need to feel understood at a pivotal moment.
The NCR identity needed to support that dual role. It had to look credible enough for executive and professional audiences while remaining warm enough to suggest one-on-one support, encouragement, and forward movement.
The Mark

The mark combines a bold monogram with the visual metaphor of an open page or turning chapter. The image suggests transition, possibility, and forward motion while remaining grounded enough for a professional services brand.
The red, yellow, blue, and black palette creates immediate visibility while giving the identity enough range to work across printed materials, digital applications, office essentials, and client-facing business documents.
Brand in Context
The identity was applied across the practical materials a professional coaching business would use to communicate with clients, present services, send documents, support workshops, and maintain brand consistency.
Design Strategy
The strategy was to make the brand feel like a bridge between where a client has been and where they are trying to go. The open-page motif reinforces the idea of movement, while the NCR monogram gives the identity a compact, memorable signature.
The system needed to work in formal and informal settings. It could appear on a business card handed out after a consultation, an invoice sent after a coaching engagement, a website introducing services, or a mug sitting on a desk during a one-on-one planning session.
Each application was intended to reinforce the same message: your experience has value, your next step can be planned, and your professional story can move forward with clarity.
